A researcher-developed instrument was used to collect data. Data collected were analysed using independent t-test statistical method. The results showed that factors affecting students’ attitudinal disposition towards learning English language significantly influence their scholastic disposition to English language. Further, the findings indicated that there existed a significant difference in students’ interest in learning English language and perception of English language learning owing to their scholastic disposition to English language.
